This is for you if ...

You are a woman who wants to get to know your original female nature more deeply. Archetypal female characters (mythical goddesses and fairy tale heroines) attract you, but you haven't worked with them in depth yet. You started to read the book "Women Who Run with the Wolves", but you found it difficult to understand and quite intense. Or you really want to read it, but you can't pick it up.

You want to ignite your creative energy and through creative expression (drawing, painting, working with clay, dancing, writing...) get in touch with yourself (after a long time).

You want to truly live that (buzzword) word "authenticity", but still deep down you feel that you are not you. You want to become aware of your imposed social layers and remove them in order to reveal your true self (whoever that may be). If someone asked you: "how are you?", your honest answer would be: "lost".

You are tired of "having" and "needing".

You have achieved everything you set out to do in life, but you still feel "empty" inside or you are burnt out.

You live in 5th gear and just "work, work, work", but you don't know (how to) slow down, and you feel that you need it. You value rest only in theory, but you don't know how to turn it into practice.

You are not the type for large crowds, but prefer small and intimate gatherings where you don't have to smile artificially.

If you recognized yourself in this description, then the female mythical encounter is definitely for you.

The circle is open to women of all ages regardless of professional background, knowledge and experience.

Producer, storyteller, dancer and certified moderator of women's circles

Who am I?

Graduated producer at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb and trainer of "soft" skills whose focus is the research of Slavic mythology, cultural heritage and the development of storytelling skills.

As a soft skills trainer , I have experience in conducting interactive educations that include 4 types of learning based on the following questions: “why?”, “What?”, “How?” and “what if?”, with special emphasis on the topics of presentation skills and storytelling .

The constant desire to learn and listen to the calls of my lifelong mission led me to education in the field of women's circles, so I became a certified moderator of women's circles to give women the best experience of this form of socializing.

I "honed" the role of host in an adventure called " cruise manager " on boats on the Adriatic coast where I led guests through a seven-day trip giving them a sense of security and connection with the beauties and cultural and natural heritage of the Croatian coast.

When I’m not researching myths and fairy tales, I like listening to gramophone records and dancing barefoot in the grass.

Why were I attracted to circles?

At the beginning of this journey into the past, I felt quite lonely . I had one (but valuable) friend (hello Helena) with whom I shared a love of Slavic mythology and folk heritage. Still, I used to feel like “I fell in the world”, “weird” and different because in my environment these were not “normal” topics. I fantasized then about socializing where the couple of us would gather, tell stories from the world of mythology, tell our personal stories with a moderated approach to conversation in a relaxed, homely atmosphere. So and so I always preferred 1 on 1 relationships and smaller groups rather than large masses.

When I launched Once upon a time in Croatia in June 2020, I discovered that there are many more souls with whom I am on the same frequency. Most of us like to express ourselves creatively, love nature and books , want a supportive environment on our path of growth and development and are not for superficial relationships and empty phrases. Within that world, I found myself in a women's circle for the first time and after it I felt that I belonged somewhere as I was. I knew it was actually the dream I had been dreaming about before, and now I could give it a name and a form. With supportive synconicities along the way I came to education to lead women’s circles and I am now here to invite you into a circle that connects women’s energy, the stories of our ancestors and our lives, our personal heritage .

My approach in the circle is based on active listening, developing vulnerability through sharing my intimate stories, safe space, reviving Slavic goddesses and beings through archetypal analysis, collaboration and balance between flexibility and clear structure.
